Helen Merrigan Colfer graduated from Crawford & WIT Art Colleges with honours in both Fine Art Dip & H. Dip Art & Design Ed. She works from her sculpture studio in Wexford.
Her work is mainly hand modelled over steel armatures. A variety of materials are used in creating the wonderful surface textures of these equine sculptures.
A record three of these sculptures were accepted into the Royal Ulster Academy’s prestigious annual exhibition 2017
